The Senior Recruitment Officer Role
 

OC&C Strategy Consultants is seeking a Senior Recruitment Officer to play a key role in our US talent acquisition efforts, focusing on recruiting for experienced professional roles and scaling our recruitment processes during a period of active growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to lead the development and enhancement of our core recruiting operations, ensuring that our processes are robust, scalable, and able to attract top-tier talent for our growing firm.

As a Senior Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for driving the recruitment of experienced professionals across various business sectors. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop efficient recruiting strategies, and implement standardized processes that can scale with the firm’s rapid growth. In this senior role, you will focus on scaling our core recruitment operations to ensure consistent, high-quality hiring practices across our US offices.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and oversee the full recruitment lifecycle for experienced professional roles, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding, with a focus on operational excellence and scalability.
    • Partner with hiring managers to define strategic hiring needs and create targeted recruitment strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Maintain consistency of recruitment processes to support scale and ensure reliability in delivering top-tier talent.
    • Drive initiatives to continuously improve the candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
    • Collaborate with the People team to ensure seamless integration of recruitment with onboarding, retention, and talent development strategies.
    • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize recruitment strategies, enhance process efficiency, and improve hiring outcomes.
    • Support and enhance OC&C’s employer branding efforts, particularly around attracting experienced professionals.
    • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring alignment with OC&C’s hiring standards and leveraging their expertise to supplement internal recruitment efforts for specialized roles.
    • Collaborate with international recruitment teams to share and implement best practices, ensuring alignment with global standards while tailoring strategies to meet the unique needs of the US market.
    • Stay informed of industry trends and innovative recruitment technologies to continuously improve and evolve recruitment processes.

Salary and Benefits: This position offers a competitive base salary range of $120,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience, which includes base salary, benefits, and performance-based bonus. The role also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plans with company match, paid time off, and additional perks.

About The Candidate

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a focus on hiring experienced professionals in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to standardize and scale recruitment processes across multiple teams or regions.
  • Strong track record in recruiting for mid-to-senior level roles, ideally within strategy consulting or similar industries.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including candidate sourcing, interview techniques, and selection criteria.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to manage the hiring process and track metrics.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment.
